Thanks to the Mother Nature Network, I found out about Ooho. A “gelatinous blob that is actually a membrane that encapsulates water like a bladder.“ Read the article here! The hope is that it will help reduce the demand we have on plastic bottles. Not only would this help reduce our oil/petroleum reliance, but reduce waste as well. Plus, there is still concern that plastic bottles may have some negative effects on human health.

Water is obviously important, but isn’t really something you think about everyday. Personally, I do my best to be water conscious, but there is still a lot that I don’t know about where my water comes from and how we actually use it.
